Tyler opened his eyes at Courtney's question. “Tell her what, exactly?”
Courtney didn't meet his eyes as she rummaged in her pack for something to munch on. “About what you are.” She pulled out a packet of granola and opened it.
Tyler's eyes went amber for a brief moment, but returned to their usual blue. “I don't know. One thing at a time, I guess. She's already been through a lot. I don't want to overwhelm her.”
“A bit late for that, don't you think,” Courtney understated with a roll of her eyes. “She's been attacked, knocked out, drowned, and who knows what else. I’m sure hearing you're a dragon will hardly make a dent in the bucket, if you know what I mean.”
Tyler smiled at that. “True. But what if I’m not ready to tell her?”

 Top Ten Favorite desserts

1- Ice cream. Who doesn’t love ice cream? It’s like the standard go to
2 – Cheesecake. What’s not to love? Especially if it’s one of those Oreo ones.
3 – Coconut cream pie. I don’t normally go for coconut, but there’s just something about it in pie form that can’t be denied.
4 – Brownies. What can I say besides Chocolate?
5 – Blintzes. If you haven’t tried them, you’re missing out. It’s like a crepe but not rolled, and it’s pan fried.
6 – Pudding, especially pistachio or cheesecake flavored, I mean, come on! It’s creamy. It’s rich. It’s prefect. And you can add in whatever you want.
7 – Cobbler, usually apple or peach. You’ve got that sweet crunchy stuff and that gooey filling. Yum.
8 – Chocolate Silk Pie. It’s Chocolate! In a graham cracker crust.
9 – Sugar Cookies, like the melt in your mouth coated with sugar kind, not the cheap tastes like flour stuff you get at the grocery store. Home made all the way!
10 – A Lie, if you don’t know what this is, you’re missing out. It’s a pie baked into a cake. (Some call it something along the lines of a cherpumpkin but my version’s better). Or if, you want to take it a step further, do a glacee pie backed into a giant brownie and decorate it like a cake to have a Conspiracy.)

The Revenants are coming. 

Only recently woken from their centuries' long slumber, the dragons are unprepared to face them. But when a legend is uncovered, revealing the existence of a lost tribe of mages, hope flickers to life. 

The race is on as Tyler Durand and Anwen Kaida rush to find this missing tribe while the others prepare for their last stand. But time and numbers are against them, and Anwen fears that even if they find the lost mages, it will be too late.

Author Interview:

1.     What is your favorite book that is not yours?
It really depends on the mood I'm in, but I tend to go back to Ann McCaffrey's Harper Hall Trilogy. 

2.     Do you write in multiple genres? Which genre is your favorite to write?
I do write in multiple genres. At present, it's primarily YA fantasy/fiction, but I also have a children's picture book out. And I plan on going into more adult thriller/romance/adventures.

3.     How young were you when you started writing?
I'd say I was probably when I was about five or six, after I'd taught myself how to read.

4.     If you could meet any author, past or present, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Tolkien. He's like the father of modern fantasy, and I really would love to pick his brain about world building and so forth.

5.     How long does it take you to write a book, and what was your fastest book to write?
It usually takes me between 6-8 months to write the first draft. The fastest I've written one was in about  a week, which happened to be my children's book.

6.     What is your favorite thing to do in the summertime?
In the summertime, I pretty much do what I do most of the rest of the year: read, write, bake, craft, and have the occasional dip in the pool or random road trip.

The bullet struck just left of her chest, near the shoulder blade. She lost balance, twisting from the force. With eyes wide open in shock, she stared at the man who had taken everything away, her freedom, her family, and now, her life. Her feet continued to twist as her head whipped around, sending her over the roof's edge as thunder rumbled through the air. A scream of agony was forced through frozen lips, and then was silenced as the rain came pouring down.

After hundreds of years, the gates to Tarragon are open once more, fulfilling age-old prophecy. However, Anwen’s journey is far from over. The dragons still sleep and she has no clue how to wake them. Forced to retreat from the Mountain, she and her newfound friends must devise a new plan to wake the inhabitants of Tarragon.

“Anwen,” Tyler almost choked.

Callum's eyes widened hearing him speak her name. He could hear the thoughts running through his brother’s mind. “You did, didn't you,” he accused with a hiss. “You gave her a part of your soul. You know that practice is strictly forbidden!” He seemed to gather himself together, like someone trying to become as small as possible. “Giving your soul to a mortal!” He said the last word as though it were an epithet. “How could you?”

Tyler closed his eyes, the image of Anwen's pale, dead face floating behind his eyelids. It was more painful than the Revenant poison's sensation. “She was dying!” he gasped.

“Better you had let her die!” Callum responded, pulling further way. “This is a curse you have brought upon yourself, brother. What she feels, you will now feel. What you feel, she may even feel. And if one of you dies, the other dies. Did you never wonder why such an act was forbidden?”
