Callum was blown away when he saw Desi sitting in a restaurant but when her soon to be ex-husband comes and flaunts his mistress and soon to be wife in her face he knows he has to do something. Desi has been downtrodden during most of her marriage the only highlight was her father-in-law and how no matter what he stood by her. When Callum stands up for her she doesn't know what to think, can she trust him or is she falling for another good looking man just be used again? I loved this story and how entertaining, engaging, steamy, emotional and romantic it was. Desi is a strong woman but she has been kicked down so much. Callum is a man's man and he is so alpha but in a good way. The other Valentine clan is amazing too. All these characters are amazing and I loved reading more about this family and the people they love. I can't wait for more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book, author and series.
