This is the first book I have read from this author and I can honestly say it won't be my last. Wow! What can I say about this book. I love Trigger and how dark he is. This book is the perfect marriage between a dark romance and a MC romance, which is my favorite genre. During this book you are left guessing what Tess's damaged past is about. I love Tess and Trigger together they are the perfect dark couple. They fight it but damn when they get together it is hotter than anything I have ever read. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book and I can't wait to see what is in store next in Demons, the next book in the series. Definitely an author to watch!!!!

This book is by far the best MC book I have read in ages. A dark read but absolutely a great one.

Trigger has only ever known fighting and death. His MC brothers know this and they always have his back. Tess hasn’t had the best past either but she is a strong woman and will fight for her life. When she goes to work at he bar Trigger owns, things heat up quickly. Brick, her best friend and savior, earns her to stay away from Trigger but she simply can’t.

Can Trigger give her a future or will she fall back into the trap that she fought so hard to stay out of?

Excellent writing with a storyline that will make you laugh, gasp, and fall in love with this MC.

This book was raw, real and riveting. J.L. Drake really knows how to pull from human nature even when writing something so that her readers can escape from their own reality.
