This book is an absolute WOW!!! I adore this author and her writing.

Annie meets James when he comes into her home and tells her she is in grave danger. She is reluctant but agrees to go with him. Things get very weird. She is an exceptional. She survive the war but her life is in serious danger. She meets a whole group of people and quickly finds herself surrounded by love. She is out through s series of test and the results are not good.

James is always angry. Annie somehow soothes him and he can’t understand why.

Can he save her or will her life be over?

The characters in this book are amazing. My favorite is Caiman. I hope more is to come.
