Cyan escaped those deadly Markus cyborgs and breathed a sigh of relief when she saw it was cyborgs that rescued her. That relief doesn't last long when Krell is the one to interrogate her. She has a secret from the cyborg/human past and it will physically hurt her to reveal it. She finds herself attracted to the sexy and scary cyborg. What can she do to make him trust her without telling him what she can't, and for him to keep her.

I loved learning more about the past between humans and cyborgs. It brings to light more of what the cyborgs faced when exiting earth and the humans that helped them. I loved the twists in this story. It was crazy the torment that the cyborgs were put through. I liked Cyan's character and who she is. Another great cyborg story in this series. I wasn't so sure I was going to like Krell but I found myself liking him in the end.
