Charlie's brother has gotten her into trouble yet again. She has to rescue a cyborg otherwise her brother's life is over. She meets Zorus and thinks he is hot until he opens his mouth. He is rude and offensive and obviously doesn't like humans. She keeps wondering why she is doing this over and over again. She doesn't back down, no matter how much bigger he is. This makes Zorus respect her. Zorus has not ever hidden his hatred for humans. So when this human makes him feel things he doesn't know what to do.

I was really hoping Laurann Dohner would do a story on Zorus and turn the tables on him. During this series he has been the one I have loved to hate. He is such a jerk and now he meets a woman, a human woman, who won't take his crap. This book is full of adventure, betrayal and hot scenes. I really liked this story a lot. It took turns I never expected and I was left guessing what was going to happen next. I love this series and can't wait to see where Laurann leads us.
