I love Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen and I really liked this modern day retelling of the story when Billionaire Mogul Mr. Darcy meets ICU Nurse Elizabeth Bennett. This version had some heat to warm up your kindle. The story had some really good twists in it that will keep the story fresh and new. Great character development between all of the characters. The slow build between Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth is great. If you are a fan of the orignial than this book is a must read.

This book was not what I was expecting but in no means did that diminsh my enjoyment. It was a journey of love, acceptance, forgiveness and letting go. You have the broody brother who is in charge of the decisions for his sisters wedding and the very frazzled wedding planner. Jake and Juliette are perfect for each other and their lives intertwine more than they know. I loved the twists and the stories within this book. This is one book that I will be reading again and again.

Hunter has a tough choice in his life. He wants to be with his band but he also wants to be with his new wife Alicia at home. Tia is the one woman who pulled in back into life but Alicia is the woman who is his everything, how does he choose between loyalty and love? This is a great book and a great ending to By My Side. The characters are ones that I fell in love with and the struggle that Hunter faces is one that anyone can. This is definitely a must read book even if you didn't read By My Side but I would suggest you read it first to get the most enjoyment out of this series.

Alicia personal life in the states was destroyed by her ex and her family. When her work offers her a job in Auckland, New Zealand she jumps at the chance to reinvent her life and concentrate on her job. She just wasn't expecting to meet Hunter, the hot alpha male that lived next door. Hunter is trying to get past his past and the last thing he expected when he walked downstairs to get coffee one morning in his boxers was the hot next door neighbor. Together Alicia and Hunter try to muddle through their painful pasts. This was such a good read about moving on and reinventing your life. I really enjoyed the characters, they seemed so real and someone you would meet in your life. They were genuine and emotional in a way that any reader could relate to. This story was so great and definitely a must read book that I couldn't stop reading.

Desiree L. Scott.jpg

Desiree L. Scott has been writing since she was sixteen years old. There have been many influences within her life that has set her on the path that she cannot help but walk. A few of those influences consist of Karen Rose, Lisa Gardener, Nora Roberts, Cynthia Eden, Catherine Anderson, Laura Griffin, Andrea Kane, and Lisa Jackson, just to name a few. This list by no means defines my own writing but they have indeed influenced her desire to live outside of her own world and to create the thrill of her dreams.
Desiree lives on 40 + acres in the SHOW ME state with her ten-year old daughter, with the wonderful addition of four dogs. The weather is unpredictable, but the surrounding beauty of the country helps her creativity as she sits on her top deck with her laptop and coffee close by.

Hinterland Series Book 1: The Wolf's Bounty Amazon Review:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wild and crazy ride! I don't even know where to begin with this review. It is such a wonderful mix of genres, but they blend together beautifully. When I first started the book I was expecting it to be heavy on the fantasy side, and parts of it were, but there is also the paranormal, sci-fi, romance, urban fantasy, and even some steampunk thrown in. I know I have said it before, and I know I will say it again and again, K. T. Harding has some of the best world building I have ever read. From the very first chapter I had a clear picture in my head of the world this story inhabits. And, I was captivated by the many creatures that roamed this world. I enjoyed all of the action, and while the characters are still being fleshed out (common in a first in series), I feel like I connected with them to be invested in their adventure. One of my favorite things about this author is her ability to make me lose myself in her words. I am living the story along with Raleigh and Bishop. I can't wait to see how strong Raleigh becomes as the series progresses. She is already a very determined force of nature, and she is the epitome of a tom-boy. Bishop doesn't quite know what to do with her or the feelings she makes him feel. This story is a very fast-paced, adventurous read, with many twists and turns. I was constantly being surprised and there are so many things going on in the story that I wonder about. It's a wild and crazy ride that leaves me hungry for more --- mom2three

The worlds I create have been described as "bizarre", "a rabbit hole of fantasy and adventure", and "uniquely unconventional".

If you are open to steamy new Shifter experiences, dive right in! :)

My favorite childhood books were "Goosebumps" by R.L. Stine. My favorite adulthood books are "Interview with the Vampire" and "The Wolf Gift" by Anne Rice.

At the end of the The Wolf's Bounty there is a link to a free copy of the full-length fantasy shifter romance "Northern Kingdom 2: The Journey of Fallen Kings."

Rena Marin & S.C. Storm

Rena Marin and S.C. Storm are the best of friends and writing partners.

Together they are the authors of The Guardians, The Tempest Isle Series Book One, which was published in 2017 by Zombie Cupcake Press. The continuation of the series is in progress along with several other works. To keep up to date with their current work and day-to-day attempts to learn the ropes, feel free to follow them at the following links.

Jim Ody

Jim was first published in an English School Textbook in 1987. He won a competition to draw a dog-walking machine. Having won an art competition the year before, he felt that at the age of eleven he had peaked and consequently retired from art. For 10 years Jim wrote for a number of websites reviewing and interviewing bands in his own unique way, as well as contributing dark poems and comedic features. Jim likes to write psychological/thrillers that have endings that you won’t see coming. He also favours stories packed with wit.

He has a very strange sense of humour and is often considered a little odd.

When not writing he will be found playing the drums, watching football and eating chocolate. He lives with his long-suffering wife and three beautiful children in Swindon, Wiltshire.

Lana Campbell

Author Lana Campbell writes paranormal romance and has a fervent passion for it. Currently, she has three books published in her Forever and a Night vampire series: book one, Forever and a Night, book two, Dark Experiments, and book three, Deadly Secrets. She has a great love for romance novels that started when she picked up her first Harlequin Romance at age fourteen. For years she read romance novels and dreamed of writing one. Finally, she decided to do it, and her first book was published in April of 2016. Lana has three grown daughters. Two live in Springfield, MO, and one lives with her and her husband in Avoca, AR, along with a precocious cat named Felix.

Caitlin L. McCulloch

Caitlin McCulloch is a poet, witty word girl, and authoress extraordinaire. She studied English and Communication at Wayland Baptist University. She has one daughter, and they live in Abilene, Texas. Her other published works include Francine’s New Name, a children’s book, and I Gave You Those Wings, a collection of original poetry.

Jessi McPherson

Jessi lives in Iowa but grew up a military brat, traveling all around with my family. I found writing at a young age and never stopped. She is the mother of two amazing teenagers and the wife of a very loving and supportive husband.

She writes in a few different genres. She loves to widen your imagination and take you on journeys you never thought you’d be on. These aren’t your typical Cinderella stories.

Erin Lee

International bestselling author Erin Lee is a dark fiction/reality author and therapist chasing a crazy dream one crazy story at a time. She is the author of Crazy Like Me, a novel published in 2015 by Savant Books and Publications, LLC, Wave to Papa, 2015, by Limitless Publishing, LLC and Nine Lives, 2016. She’s also author of When I’m Dead, Greener, Something Blue, Freak, Circus Freak, The Ranch, Once Upon a Reality, Take Me as I Am, and 99 Bottles. She also penned Losing Faith, a novella with Black Rose Writing. She is co-author of Black Rose’s The Morning After and too many more to list without awaking her inner killer freak.

With that said, she is also author of the “Diary of a Serial Killer Series,” Momma, which this series is based on, and the “Lola, Party of Eight Series” with Zombie Cupcake Press.

Lee is a co-founder of the “Escape from Reality Series” – a multi-genre, twenty-author, three-year, shared-world series with authors Taylor Henderson and Sara Schoen. Together, the trio has created the fictional town of Escape, Colorado, where authors and readers of all genres come to escape.

Lee holds a master’s degree in psychology and works with at-risk families and as a court appointed special advocate. When she isn’t busy dissecting the human experience, she enjoys escaping from reality through reading and a myriad of crazy adventures that will probably one day get her murdered.

To join her Facebook street team and fan club group, look for Erin Lee’s Crazy Inklings, Crazy Inklings and/or The Outsiders Street Team. If you’re lucky, she may even let you into her secret beta reader team – if you dare… It’s pure madness in there.

Rita Delude

Rita Delude has a Master of Fine Arts in Writing. Her novella, Kaleidoscope, Book Ten in the Escape from Reality Series, will release on February 15, 2018.

Coming August 15, 2018 to that series will be Book Seventeen, her novella, Baby Blues.
