By Birth. By Blood. Family. It has been the moto that Giovanni has lived by and has no intention of ever changing. Aria has been abused in the harshes ways of life so when Giovanni "Gio" finds her he makes her life her abusive stepfather's payment. Aria isn't so sure trading one jail for another is that good of a trade but something about Gio makes her pause. Only problem is Aria isn't who his parents expect him to be with and he knows she is too good for him. That he is tainted and she deserves so much more. When secrets and lies places Aria in danger he will do anything to save her, even if that means walking away from the one woman who has unknowningly become his savior and his heart where one didn't exist before. OMG!!! This book was so good!!! I loved Aria and Gio they are such strong characters. This is one book I never wanted to finish and I truly hope that we get more from this cast of characters again. THIS IS A MUST READ!!! On my list of top dark reads.
