Eve and Blackie had met before but she thought he left her on purpose. Blackie has been haunted by a woman whom saved him but he thought she was dead. Unfortunately, the Cyborg Council left her and her sisters to die. Blackie lost Eve once and she would do everything to keep her by his side now. He vows to get answers and to avenge all that she has suffered and lost.

This book was another surprise for me. This series never gets old nor does it not surprise me. Laurann Dohner has a talent for keeping me on my toes. I went through tons of emotions reading this book. I loved Eve and Blackie's characters and how they found each other again. This was one book that I will read again and again. Great story line and very surprising.
