Jaxsen Wild has landed himself in hot water with the NBA.

After letting his temper get the best of him during a game, he’s slapped on the wrist with a warning—get your act together, or your career and the championship with the Miami Blaze is on the line.

He wasn’t looking for love, and he certainly never saw Emmy coming when she crashes into him at the airport. Jaxsen is used to women using him for his money and the media dragging his name through the mud.

The last thing he needs is another scandal with his name plastered in the headlines. Still, something about how she has no idea who he is, draws him in.

Learning her ex cheated on her has Emmy swear off men and relationships forever. All she wants is one night of passion to forget everything—no strings attached. Who better than Mr. Tall, Dark and Dreamy staying at her hotel after their cancelled flight leaves them stranded in the city?

Except Jaxsen wants more than one night with Emmy, and he isn’t ready to let her go so easily.

When word gets out about their relationship and Jaxsen finds out the secret she’s been keeping, Emmy fears he’ll believe she’s using him like all the women before her.

Or worse, he'll live up to his bad boy reputation and turn out to be as much of a player off the court as he is on it.

“If you want a feel good story that is still full of craziness, hot steamy scenes and all the emotions then this is the story (and series) for you!” - Nikki

Nothing complicates a friendship faster than love…

Seb Brookes has no intention of falling in love ever again. So, when he invites a family friend to move into the apartment above his bar, romance is not on his agenda. That doesn’t stop him from noticing how gorgeous she is, though…or from wanting her. But friendship is all he can handle. He’ll just have to learn to keep his mind—and hands—off his new tenant. That was the plan, anyway…

Taylor Jacobs needed a fresh start—and the small town of Hope Creek was the perfect place to get it. She wasn’t prepared to fall for Seb…but she did. He’s sexy, charming—and emotionally unavailable. She knows love isn’t in the cards for them. But that doesn’t mean a physical relationship is out of the question…right?

The line between friends with benefits and love is whisper-thin, and crossing it could lead to happily ever after…or utter devastation. Which way will Seb and Taylor go? There’s only one way to find out…

Laura Farr lives in Shropshire with her husband and two children. When she isn’t working, or being a Mummy, she’s pursuing her dream of writing.

She’s a romantic at heart and loves nothing more than writing stories with a happy ever after, even if there is the odd chapter of angst thrown in. Her desire to write came from her love of reading and when she isn’t writing you will find her attached to her kindle or spending time with her family.

Blurb:
Six months ago I died. And I’ve been looking for my killer ever since.

I didn’t expect to survive death, but here I am and I’ve got questions—lots of them. Questions that lead me to a world I never knew existed in the shadows of the mundane. When I come face to face with a vampire who seems to have the answers I’m looking for, I find myself trapped in a game where I’m the pawn.

Someone is hunting me. No one is safe until I’m caught, but I refuse to be the prey. When the hunter becomes the hunted, they’ll learn I’m not as naïve as they think. That is, until the mastermind is revealed and nothing is ever the same again.

Will I be able to reclaim my old life? Or is the game just getting started?
