I love this book and Leila and Vlad's start of their story. Vlad is a character from the Night Huntress series that I have always loved. Jeaniene Frost did not disappoint with Vlad's story. The story is complex and the new characters are complex and intriguing. Leila is a perfect match for Vlad, she doesn't back down even though Vlad is a dangerous vampire. The heat and desire between them just jumps off the page. This is a book that I will return to again and again.
