I actually read the Harris Brothers books first (Challenge, Endurance & Keeper) and I wanted Vi's story so badly. She is the glue that has held the Harris family together. She has her hands full with four strong brothers and an stubborn father. Since her Mother's death she has been the rock that the men of her family has clung to, but what about her? Isn't she allowed to have happiness and love? When her dog Bruce finds her the man who could destroy and heal her heart all in one swoop, she doesn't know what to do. When the one man she falls for feels she deserves better and pushes her at every step to the point that he may push her away permanently. Vi and Hayden are amazing and I love, love, love this story. Well done Amy Daws you have done it again!!!
