Reyna has lived a tragic life. She started out losing the sisters she shared a womb with, she lost her father, had overprotective mother, shagged her best friends Marisa's boyfriend the night she died and is in a messed up and toxic 1 year relationship with Marisa's brother Hayden. 3 years after Marisa's death Reyna is still struggling with the death of her best friend Marisa and what she and Liam did that night. She still can't turn off her feelings for Liam and when he shows up and decides he wants more. Reyna knows she is not worthy of anyone's love. She pushes away everyone. I love this series but unfortunately I couldn't quite get behind Reyna. Don't get me wrong it's a great story and I loved the other characters that I have come to love in this story. Liam and Hayden definitely made up for Reyna. I just found her too conflicted and self absorbed. I hope Amy Daws writes more of this series because it happens to be one of my favorites.
