Hawk was known to most women in his area. He was a skilled fighter and no woman ever refused him. When a fairy queen threw his name out there to her king, the king plotted for revenge. He sent his cohort to the future to find a woman who would say no. Adrienne de Simone was pulled out of 20th century Seattle and forced to marry Hawk. With plots against them being together, but there is something that pulls them together. Adrienne fights everything in her to resist Hawk but she can't stop what she is feeling. I wanted to like this book but unfortunately I found it dragged on and felt the author took too long to tell the story. I did however like the story and it had a very "Outlander" feel to it and that is why it earned 3 stars from me.
