Sara is a school teacher and when it comes to parent conferences, he nerves get the best of her.

Garrison is Zach's dad and she is worried about the bullying is a taking. Her mother is gone and she thinks he needs some help coping but Garrison won't hear of such a thing. This starts a relationship that could end up hurting them both. The Brand family hates Garrisons family and Hank will stop at nothing to ruin him.

With all the threats, Sara and Garrison decide to go for it and see what the future holds.

The book takes a turn when Zach is kidnapped and Sara goes to Hank to save him.

Can Garrison save them both?
