To date, this is one of my favorite reads ever. These characters will make you cry and believe in a love like no other.

Miranda is stuck singing in a dingy club all due to her brother's gambling problem. Sal thinks her owns her and she knows she will never be free of him and his beady self. Finding a way of out the Mob isn't easy.

Bastion takes one look at her and he knows she is his. He vows to protect her and when he finds out the real reason she is him the club, he sees red. When trouble does come calling, he is there to make sure she survives and putting an end to the danger. Beautifully written.
