Lyla is really out to her test in this second book. She had to play host of the council meeting and the other fire brides. She does this beautifully. She know her mates are hiding something from her and when she learns the truth, she is both hurt and angry. Can these villages be saved? Will she be strong enough for her mates? The witch queen thinks she can but will her mates agree? This book shows not only the strength Lyla has but also a love like no other.
