When preacher's daughter Beth Cornett catches the eye of the local MC member Razer, she knows it isn't a good idea. When Beth falls for him regardless of the other women throwing themselves at him and sees first hand what a bad idea it is when she leaves her heart shredded at his feet. Razer has never apologized for his lifestyle and he isn't about to start but the look on Beth's face makes him feel gutted. They weren't together so why does he want to run to her and hold her and promise her anything? When Beth becomes a target and Razer will do anything to protect her but how is he going to protect himself from her? Great MC series that I am enjoying immensely. I wasn't too excited about the multiple partners in this book as that is not something I really like to read about, but the story and the characters overshadowed that for me. I loved the way that Beth was able to bring a side to Razer that he didn't even know he had. I honestly can't wait for the next book.
