~~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review~~~~~~~~~~~
When a chance meeting brings Jack and Officier Lara Boucher together she can't forget him and he can't erase her memory. You see Jack is a vampire but for some reason Lara can resist mind control so not only does her beauty entice Jack but he entices her for some reason. Jack warns Lara away from him, knowing he can never confide in her what he truly is. Lara is stubborn and when a case that holds Jack's expertise Lara can't resist asking for his help but who is going to save her from him? I really loved this story but I didn't like the narrator and the way she tried to do the accents of the characters. I have read/listen to all the books prior to this one from my local library and I have loved them. I love this series and think Kerrelyn Sparks is an amazing author and the narrator was the only reason I couldn't give this book a five star rating. Story is amazing, I love the characters new and old. Definitely will be reading the next book in the series as fast as I can.
