Wes and Hailey had been dating for a year and they were very much in love but when neither one will bend on which direction their future will go, they fight and break up. A year and a half later Hailey needs Wes more than she knows, so when he ends up on her doorstep before Christmas it was like a dream come true. Hailey had been through a traumatic event that would change her Wes's future forever. Wes knows that he is playing for her heart and he is not willing to lose this time around. OMG!!! Emily Robertson is just amazing. I love Wes and Hailey's story. Such a hard topic to write about but done so very well. I love all the characters from past books too. I hope we see more of the Portwood Brothers in future books. This is one series that you will easily fall in love with and crave more. MUST READ!!!

Hailey and Wes go their separate ways when she chooses her job over him. She moves and when things go bad with a man that she works with, she just wants to take it all back. When Wes appears on her doorstep at Christmas, she is taken back but doesn’t make him go. They fall back into a pattern until he has to go home. He wants her to stand up for herself with the situation at work but she doesn’t think she can be that strong. Can they fix their relationship and get back what they once had? Can she stand up for herself and make things right again? Excellent writing with a storyline that will make you feel every emotion you have.

This book ripped me into a thousand pieces. I always love a man who will fight for his true love.
