Review: Summer Love

Summer Love Summer Love by J. Lum

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Toby can't stand his father, the man who walked away and deserted him. So being at his beach house with his father's new family was not something he wanted to do. On a walk one morning he meets Casey and is instantly pulled in. Casey has come from a loving home but a demanding one and she is living in the shadow of her father's expectations. She has never felt like she has with Toby. They both never want their summer to end.
I liked this story and the characters were very likable. It was a sweet story of a first summer love. I felt as though it was missing parts in the story, time jumped ahead and I felt like I was missing something. Also it ended in a cliff hanger and I was disappointed. I saw potential with this story and would have liked more. The author does post a note at the end explaining the cliff hanger.
