The second book of this series proved to be very complicated. Maya has lost Rhys and was now in the Land of the Dead with the Baron, her soon to be groom. She is very defiant and will not give up. She just wants to go home and live her life, not be in his land. She meets some very vivid people while there and makes a few friends rather quickly. She must find a way to stop the Baron and his madness. Will she ever see Ryhs again? Her heart is beginning to think she won’t. Very good writing with a storyline that will leave you shocked and in awe.
