Doing something she swore she would never do, finds Anita Blake in bed with the Master of the City; Jean-Claude. Anita is pulled into Vampire BS when local vampire owned businesses are being burnt down. Who will be next and who is doing this? Anita must find out before it's too late. I love Anita and Jean-Claude together and this book gives me just that. I love how snarky Anita is but I also love that she is still a woman. Anita is the woman every woman wants to be. Great book another amazing installment in this series.
