Rhyson broke Kai's heart and she is not sure she can ever trust again. Rhyson will do anything to get that second chance with her. They both kept moving forward but this book shows the strength of Kai and the strength she draws from her mother's memories. The emotional roller coaster of this book left me dizzy. I felt like this book was emotionally charged with angst and emotion from both characters.
