Daniel Mancini, first grade detective, witnesses a paranormal creature kill. The next thing he knows, he is given early retirement simply bc no one believes him. 2 years later, with his vivid dreams slowly killing him, he meets Angelica Cross and his world changes forever.

He learns of the paranormal world and of Vincent. They embark on a journey to find Vincent and kill him but Daniel's dreams become more vivid and he is faced with a past that he cannot believe.

He does his job and he does it well. Angie teaches him and prepares him for what he might see and face. They get to know one another and soon find themselves in the thrones of passion. When Danny learns what Angie is, he can't bear it. His dreams always lead him to her. They tie him to her but he has to figure out how to accept her for what she is. He pushes her away and regrets it.

Great read. I can't wait to read the next one
