Review: Hades: Modern Descendants

Hades: Modern Descendants Hades: Modern Descendants by Elda Lore
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Spunky N Sassy Rating: 3.0

~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~~
Hades has been watching Persephone Fields from the shadows, knowing he cannot be part of her world. His world is elsewhere. When fate intervenes and she becomes his captive in the underworld, then will history repeat itself and more secrets are revealed that Hades and Persephone didn't know about. Who they really are and what their fate has in store for them.
I really liked the story of this book and the way Elda Lore told it. I just felt that the story lagged too much for me to truly enjoy it to its fullest. It just felt like it took too long for the characters to get where they were going in the story. With that being said however, I loved the characters and how they grew within the story. They were not one dimensional and had many layers to them. I truly fell in love with the theme of the story. The next book in this series seems interesting and I will give this it another go when it comes out. I see the potential in this series and hope that the second book moves along at a better pace.
