Mira is taken by Flint, a very large cyborg. He takes what he wants and he wants Mira. He has her branded and takes her aboard his ship. Mira is so attracted to this alpha male who wants her and she is more than willing to submit to him. She knows she is falling for this cyborg but then she finds out that she he is in a breeder pact and if called upon he must have sex with other cyborg women. Mira does not share and she refuses to share Flint, no matter what. Even when she finds out she is nothing more than a slave on the Garden, the home planet of the cyborgs. Does Flint even care about her more than a possession? Mira is also someone who is willing to fight for what she wants and she wants Flint.

Wow! What can I say other this is an amazing book and great start to this series. I wasn't sure at first if I would like to read about cyborgs, I thought that would be too far out there for me. Boy, was I wrong. The cyborgs are real and damn, are they sexy. I cannot wait for the next book. I hope we see more of Mira and Flint in it. I absolutely loved their battles. Any reservations I had Laurann Dohner won me over with this book. Now I am hooked and don't want to stop reading.
