Carly and Brian we're high school seniors with their lives planned before them. They would graduate, go off to college together and then eventually get married. All this changed when they witnessed the deaths of their closest friends and Brian's brother Sam. The wreck caused Carly to lose all speech and Brian had to find a way to move on without everyone he loved most. 15 years later horrible events lead Brian back to his hometown and to the woman he left behind. Can he save Carly or will he finally lose everything due to the wreck.

This book literally had me at the edge of my seat. What starts off as a sweet romance between Carly and Brian turns into a spine chilling mystery that leaves you holding your breath until the last page. This book has so many twists and turns but never do you feel lost. You are drawn into the characters and you find yourself holding your breath in fear for them. I can honestly say I never knew who did until it was revealed in the end. Great book and I know this will not be the last book I read by this author.
