After reading Shadow Wolf which should be read before Shadow Bride, I couldn't wait to read this book. Phoenix he is what an alpha should be and he knows how to lead his people, but he will do anything for his mate and fight anyone in the path to their future. I absolutely loved this story and the strength Dee shows as she grows in the series. Adri was put through so much and I can't wait to see more of her rise in the third book: Shadow Queen. I loved Kaz, Valen and Nora as well. I fall more in love with these characters and I couldn't put this book down, now to wait for the next book. This is one of the best paranormal wolf shifter book I have read in a really long time. I highly recommend this series and author.
