The story was so good, and I loved every word. Aurora St. Clair is one of the lost half siblings of Trevor and Fallon Montgomery. Aurora hasn't lived a good life and when her best friend Cameron is killed, she doesn't really have anyone until Trevor comes into her life and she learns what it means to be a Montgomery. Jackson “JD” Halstead wants to be more to Aurora. When she finally trusts him with her heart and promises to never leave like Cameron did choices are made it destroys Aurora. I have a conflict with JD and his reasoning for some of the choices that he made as I didn't feel like they really made all that much sense for his leaving. Especially when he knows she has the backing of the Montgomery family and name. This was just such a good story though and his lack of reasoning did not detract from the story. I honestly fell more in love with these characters as I read them and some of the characters from the previous Fallen Brook stories came back into the story as well. I can’t wait for Harper’s story the next lost sibling of the Montgomery family. Since I have started the Fallen Brook series, I had never read this author before, but after this being the 5th book of hers that I have read I know I have fallen in love with her writing and I feel everyone should experience her world.
