Adrienne has been betrothed to Zade the future alpha of the Willow Creek pack for years. They are best friends and have been since they were children. Adri has never felt like she has fit in her family and her pack. When a treaty is to be signed and their enemies pack the alpha Phoenix enters and Adri knows he is her fated mate but he rejects her and leaves. When Adri finds out everyone she has loved has been lying to her she leaves and starts a journey that changes everything.

Wow, what can I say other than saying this is the BEST shifter book I have read in a really long time. The characters in this story are so intriguing and complex. This story has so many twists I never expected. I am dying to read Shadow Bride and the continuing story. This is my first read from K. Easton and I am happy to say that this won't be my last. If you love hot alpha shifters and strong woman, this is the book for you!!!

This book was very entertaining. Talk about fated mates. Phoenix and Adri have absolutely nothing in common until they do. She learns a lot of truth but Phoenix is there to help her the entire way. Great read.
