One thing I love while reading a book is the characters growing and becoming more, that is exactly what happens in this book. One-Eye is a mystery upon himself. We find out that he was tortured along with a few other members of the Atlantic City Chapter but that is about all we know, in this book we find out more about his past and why he is so closed off. Then on the other side is Alicia and Kimmy. I love little Kimmy and how honest she is, she speaks and seems more mature than she is. I guess she would have to be having a bio-Dad that used to beat the crap out of her Mommy Alicia. Alicia is afraid and she has every right to be, she has only known violence and ugliness from men prior to One-Eye but she needs to let down that fear or she will lose everything. I loved how she also grew through out the story. I really loved Boomer in this book, the way he is struggling and I hope we get more of his and Scarlett's story in a later book. I am in love with K.L. Savage and the way a story is told not to the reader but involves the reader so much that you feel a part of the Ruthless Family. Highly Recommended!!!
