This is Sterling and Ruthie's story. Ruthie is Sawyer's best friend and due to the two of them serving time some citizens are not so forgiving. Ruthie doesn't feel like she is worth much due to her past and she is just struggling to live day by day. Sterling is a Navy Seal whose life is hard but as soon as he sees Ruthie he knows he has found the woman for him. The only problem is he has to convince her. When Ruthie is targeted Sterling will do anything to save her, but what happens when he is away on a mission, what will happen then? I loved Ruthie and Sterling's story, it had rough edges and lots of ups and downs. This was a story that kept me on the edge of my seat until the last word. This is one author and series that you must read!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
