This book broke my heart. Emma has loved a life that no one should ever have to live. When she runs and ends up at the MC club house looking for her aunt, all he** breaks loose. Mickey is a prospect manning the gate when she appears. Things move quickly in this book and I loved every word. I adore the way Mickey protects her and makes her feel like family. Awesome writing with a wicked twist that had me smiling.

I loved how Emma escaped to find her Aunt Lucy and met Mickey. I loved how Mickey and Emma's relationship was so intense from the beginning. Although secrets and lies cause her to leave the safety of the Deathstalkers MC, her past catches up with her and she may not escape so easily this time. Wow! What a story. Even though this story is short it is no less impactful. I loved every word and wanted more. The story and characters was so enthralling, that I never wanted to reach the end but I devoured every word. Highly Recommend this book, series and author!!!!
