Conleigh is a great character. At times, I wanted to really slap her but she made me love her just the same. She has known Linc for a long time and all they ever do is fight. She secretly loves him but she won’t give in. Linc loves football and his MC. When word gets to him that Conleigh is in trouble, he goes to her. These two will either kill each other or finally have the love they have always wanted. Awesome read. I really am enjoying this series.

This is the second book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC but can be read as a standalone. Some characters do intersect from the first book. I loved how Conleigh and Linc fight each other every step of the way. It doesn't mean they are going have a meeting of the minds and figure stuff out right away. Especially with the turmoil from the MC that is soon going to come in and do everything to keep them apart. The character development in this story was so good, the timeline and story are perfection. This story is one that is something that could happen to anyone; two young people aren't ready for each other and their families make the decision to keep them apart until they are. I love how Lani Lynn Vale takes a story that could be anyone's and puts her twist on it and makes it come alive. She is definitely an author to watch and this series is definitely a must read.
