Adeline can only be described as a total survivor. Anyone who loves through what she did is fierce and totally worthy of love. Smiley took one look and knew he wanted her. They are perfect together and he is exactly what she needs. I have been looking forward to the book and as always this Author did not disappoint. Awesome writing.

Adeline has never had happiness and only abuse, neglect and terror. The only happiness is her daughter and her MC family, that is until she meets Smiley. She is a survivor and has scars inside and out that show what she has and is overcoming. Smiley helps her overcome her fears of being touched but unfortunately her past isn't ready to let go and they are coming for her with a vengeance. Smiley will do anything to make Adeline safe and happy but what if his best isn't good enough and he loses her forever. Wow! What can I say about this book that will do it justice. LeAnn Ashers knows how to write an amazing story that pulls the reader in and her characters are very relatable and believable. I loved this story being about an older couple that have lived life hard and still want more. Adeline's story broke my heart but the way Smiley was with her melted my heart. I highly recommend this book, series and author!!!!
