What happened when you take a love and leave them biker and a career driven woman that doesn’t give in ever? Hawk wants Cara but she isn’t one to just let go. He makes it his mission to get her but with a sick killer on the loose, that may prove very hard to do. These two are perfect characters for each other. Will Cara let Hawk in or will she keep her walls up high? This is an awesome book to read.

Hawk is the VP of the Insurgents MC and he doesn't believe in relationships, he believes in getting what he needs and moving on. Unfortunately when he sees Cara he feels like he wants the same from her but she is different. Cara has been hurt badly before so she is very cautious but she can't deny her desire for Hawk, no matter how much she fights against it. When Cara's becoming a target of a dangerous killer, Hawk will do anything to protect her but will he be too late? I loved this story so much and the fact that Cara made Hawk fight for her just added to the story. These characters are all so intense and passionate. I highly recommend this book and WOW what a start to this series.
