Beautiful read. Jake was hurt in an attacked on the MC and his voice took the hit. He has loved Kimi a long time but she needed to time to grow up. She is now in college and when the danger hits home, He realizes that he needs her as much as she needs him. He will keep her safe. This read shows us a unbreakable love that waited forever to start. Excellent writing.
