When tragedy strikes and Prince Sebastian is now needing to take the crown he learns of Penny "Len" lies and how she was sent to control him. He is whisked away back home. He then learns that she saved him not once but twice from a plot to take his life but he can't seem to separate his duty with his feelings for her. When more lies, secrets and danger lies around every corner can he finally get what he wants and get the Queen of his heart? Len was brought home with a broken heart and she doesn't know what to do but her first priority is always to keep Sebastian safe but who is protecting her? This conclusion to Penny and Sebastian's story was so great and perfect. I loved this book so much more than the first two. It has so much more to it. The relationship between King and Guard is sometimes hard to read because you see how much it hurts them both but I loved the book. These characters are ones that I fell in love with. I hope that Lucas and Ariel get their stories too. Definitely recommend this series and book.
