Nicola has lived a life of hell. Her dad disappeared before she was born and her mother died with a broken heart. She goes into the foster care system and is placed with the family for hell. Enduring their torment was enough to make her leave upon graduating.

Her grandmother always kept an eye on her but she thought she was happy. Having a real family again makes her heart full. Irish is the real thing. All bad boy but with a soft heart. He is forbidden by the president to touch her but we all know how that goes. Can they have a life of happiness or will her past come back to get her? I loved the ending of this book and cannot wait for the next book. Excellent writing.
