Holy Smokes what a read. Awesome storyline with characters that will make you read without stopping. Erzsebet is imprisoned in a portrait and she is planning her escape. Andrik imprisoned her and killed Rurik because of the feral vamp they were turning. He vowed to kill every feral with no pity. Andrik saves Nola, an artist, for death after she is attacked by the feral. It is a first for him but somehow, he knows he must save her. He erases her memories more than once for her protection. When things take a turn for the worst with Erzsebet and her son, Paul, Andrik must keep Nola safe. When the gallery night arrives, things go bad, really bad. Nola is stunned but she knows she trust Andrik and she knows he will protect her. Excellent writing. One of the best vamp books I have read in a long while.
