Caleb had never trusted women after being destroyed younger in his life. He learned that he couldn't trust his heart to anyone. So when Hayley came into his life he did everything to push her away. Hayley was pulled to Caleb the first time she saw him. She was a doctor at the gym that Caleb trained at. She tried to get his attention but he shut her down, so she had decided to move on or at least that is what she told herself. When Caleb finally "sees" Hayley he wants to know her and starts feeling things but can he trust her or will she destroy him like every other woman in his life ever has?
I absolutely love this series. This is a stand alone book but I highly recommend you read these books in order to get the full enjoyment out of them. Caleb is so tortured and in such agony. He has suffered so much from the hands of those that were meant to protect him. Hayley is a sweet woman who wants so much out of life. She is reminded by life what she is lacking. Together Caleb and Hayley are perfect for each other. I loved their story and how it ended. I truly love all the characters in this series. There isn't one story that has not touched me on a deep emotional level. I love Nikki Ash's style of writing and how she truly puts so much love in her books. She truly is an artist the way she paints the story with bright and dark colors. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES!!!
