Beautifully written book. Voni just wanted to die. She couldn’t even do that right. When Malakai sees her, he goes to her and talks her down. They begin a relationship that is slow and steady. He sets out to find everything about her but she is closed off and doesn’t like to open up. When he discovers the cause of her sadness and nightmare’s, he knows exactly what he needs to do. He vows to keep her safe and that is exactly what he does.
