Caleb goes to Blackford to investigate the shifter deaths. He is determined to get answers. He meets Jess and he is immediately enthralled. She is beautiful. They bond over the dog is has taken in and quickly become involved. She is in danger but when the danger hits close to home, her cat goes into overdrive. She has to stop all this madness and life really does need to get back to normal. This book was a joy to read. The characters were absolutely spot on and the writing was fantastic
