After being emotionally abused by her her husband Robert, Makenzie Mayfair had enough. So she decided to make changes and when she met the stunningly handsome Dylan he offered her a way to start fresh. Dylan's brother Grayson needs a new assistant and she can live there as well. So all of her problems are solved until she meets her hot, demanding and totally unavailable boss and the fun begins.

OMG!! I haven't laughed so hard while reading a book so much in such a long time. Lila Rose really has a talent of bringing humor to her characters. Makenzie has been beat down so much by Robert that I celebrated her becoming her true self again. Making Changes is a funny and spicy slice of romance. I normally don't quote books but I just have to share this one because I thoroughly enjoyed it all so much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! MUST READ ROMANTIC COMEDY!!!

"Do I have a sign on my forehead saying I haven't had sex in years, please flirt with me?" Not that I minded, the attention was sweet, something I hadn't had in such a long time. So long I didn't know how to take it or act about it or actually believe it.
Suddenly, Monty burst out in a guffawing laugh. Ethan chuckled and said, "Not that I can see."
Grayson choked on his drink, enough that it spurted out of his mouth landing on the table. Next, he was coughing.
Harper was just glaring at me.
My hand went over my mouth, I turned wide eyes to Monty and whispered, "Did I say that aloud?'
"You sure did, sweetheart."
