Kadence Turner has a difficult past with a particular MC club and doesn't take BS from bikers since her ex-finacee left her in a burning house. When she meets one of her student's Father, Phoenix "Nix" Knight, the President of the Knights Rebels MC and brings out her feisty side. Nix wants this feisty woman who keeps shooting him down, he knows when a woman responds to him and Kadence is no different. There is something more that Kadence sees in Nix, past his bravado, but is it enough for her to trust in someone again?

I am very picky about the MC books I read because it seems like there is a new author writing another MC book everyday. River Savage has definitely gone on my list of must read authors now. This book gives me everything without giving too much of one thing. I like a good combination of story, character development and spice. This book gives me everything and more. If you haven't read this book and started this series, than I highly recommend that you do. I know I will definitely be reading more of this series.
