~~~~~~~~~~~Tracy's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been a huge fan of Nicole Edwards for years and this book just took her writing to another level in my eyes. As being someone who has lost their spouse I can relate to the feelings and emotions that Dylan and Sarah are feeling. I too wanted to drown my hurt and forget the pain and all the while feeling guilty for wanting to forget. This book really brought back all the feelings that I felt and still feel. It truly is a hard thing to walk through and try to remain intact. Nicole Edwards did a masterful job of taking the reader on this journey and still remain true to her characters. This story touched me as I could see so much of myself in Dylan. I too still grieve and hurt for the loss of my husband even though it will be eight years next month since I lost him. Grief isn't something that can be dealt with on a specific time table. Both the characters in this story are dealing with their loss in different ways. They both truly loved their spouses and didn't want to lose them. This is a story that will touch your heart with the pain that they both go through. I understand why this book took Nicole three years to write. It is not an easy topic to cover and it is one that will get under your skin and dig into your heart. But she did it justice. Well done and thank you for sharing Dylan and Sarah's stories. This book was truly a masterpiece and one that I will enjoy reading again and again.
