A continuation of book one, this book is awesome. Laura and Alec are a great pair. With the Ritual done, these two have to deal with heartbreak, danger and love. They demand loyalty to Laura with The Pledge and the war is on. Alec is determined to keep her safe but she is equally determined to learn of to protect and fight. This book is action packed but also full of the love story between the two. We learn more about each character and of the curse that plagues them.
Excellent writing with a on the edge of your seat storyline. You will not read a better series.
