Lucas thought the only way to keep Bryna safe was to let her go. Plus he needed to find out the truth of his birth one way or another. What he didn't count on what the pain of leaving her was something he never felt before. Bryna woke up to a note and Lucas gone, she was devastated. She finished her internship and went back home to try and start a life without Lucas, every step killing her more and more. When her Queen and King ask her to face Lucas again, she doesn't think she will be able to do it but for them she will try. Danger and intrigue surround their every movement and Lucas's past finally comes back but who will make it out alive? I love the twists and secrets in this story. The passion and chemistry between not only Lucas and Bryna but Penny and Sebastian was scorching hot. I can't wait to read Jessa's story next. Great book with amazing characters.
