I wanted to give this book a five star rating and it was so close but there were parts that I felt fell short. Starting off this book was way better than I thought it would be. I know you aren't supposed to judge a book by it's cover but in a way I did. I don't like the cover but hey I still read it and loved this book so much. As you probably discovered the cover was something that fell short for me and didn't seem to match the amazing story. The other was that there was so much slow burn in this story that once it caught fire, it was done. I wanted more meat. LOL. This book did surprise me and I that is something that doesn't happen very often anymore. This was my first read by Tabatha Vargo and I am happy to say it won't be my last. Don't judge a book by it's cover and dive into this amazing story.
